Dan Nichols is one of the most popular and influential Jewish musicians in North America, performing over 200 events a year. He is a product of URJ camping, having grown up at Goldman Union Camp Institute in Zionsville, IN. Dan received his Bachelor’s of Music degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He has worked tirelessly to fuse his classical training with his passion for Jewish communal singing. His music has become an essential part of the liberal Jewish world, with Jewish youth and clergy alike incorporating it into their study and worship. Songs like The Na Na Song, B’tzelem Elohim, Kehillah Kedoshah, and Sweet As Honey, are among the most popular songs in liberal Judaism today. Dan lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife, Elysha and his daughter, Ava.
